Built by a foundation guy, not a software company
I'm Aidan Teague. With my brother I own and run a structural foundation repair company in Auckland, New Zealand, our operation: foundation repair, and structural house lifting. I've spent 12+ years on the tools — underpinning, re-levelling, grout injecting, completed full structural house lifts, extensive subfloor and pier work, drainage-driven settlement repairs, and the floor-level surveys and crack monitoring that decide what a repair plan should actually be.
Why
A clearer first read for New Zealand homes
BaseCheck is built around the foundation problems we see in New Zealand homes: movement, cracking, drainage, subfloor moisture, and concerns around timber piles, jack studs, concrete ring foundations, or slabs. It turns photos and a short description into a structured first read, so you can decide what deserves monitoring and what needs a closer look.
It is screening and triage only — not an engineering report and not a replacement for inspection by a qualified foundation contractor or structural engineer.
